Troubleshoots like she ran the wild west. Spends her spare time with a mexican redhead named paco... an amazon parrot, that is!!!

Stylist
“Edgy without the attitude!” Sarah Ann McClure started as an apprentice to co-owner Nikki.  She has been at the salon since February of 2007 and has already become a permanent fixture with the salon.  She’s a welcome addition who enjoys animals, Rock N’ Roll, abstract art and ink.

Stylist
Tarah Merchant has been at Haute Headz for almost four years and has worked in all areas of the salon.  She was an apprentice to master stylist, William and loves the variety of a busy salon.  Tarah stays busy jumping from haircut to color, color to cut. She confesses she never wants to settle into any one routine and stays up to date with all the latest styles and trends.

Laura Cowan is very enthusiastic, and has polished skills that were perfected while training under master stylist, Adella.  Laura’s blow outs and knowledge of the business is nothing short of excellence.

Stylist
Ashley Admire is passionate about hair, style, and exceptional service. As an excellent listener, she takes time to find the style and color best suited for each client’s personality and lifestyle. She then shows her clients how to get the same look at home. A graduate of North Florida Cosmetology Institute, she furthered her knowledge under master stylists Nikki, Somkit, and William. Ashley has an eye for precision as all of her color and cuts exemplify movement, ease and a confidence that can only be defined as stunning. “In the end, it's about making that person look good, feel great and leave my chair with a satisfied smile.”

Stylist
Darrah Allbritton trained under master Stylists, Adella and Nikki in 2008.  She is eager, and hungry for the business.  Darrah loves doing all types of styles, colors, and cuts, and she excellent with curly hair.  She is up to date with the latest hair styles and it is evident when her client’s leave the salon.  Although, she is one of our younger stylist and new on the floor, her work is brilliant and she is quickly making her way to the top.

Steven has been a stylist for 6 years and has worked at Haute Headz for 1 year now. He attended North Florida Cosmetology Institute where he later became a teacher and taught there for a little over a year. His specialities include razor cuts, blonde's and red's. Steven is an avid reader and can also be found painting or playing his guitar in his free time.

Senior Stylist
B Kaufmann has a schedule full of cuts and color, though she specializes in Fusion Hair Enhancements/Extentions.  She is full of energy and spunk that is evident in all of her work.  B always has a smile on her face.  She is highly dedicated to her clients and has the steady clientele to prove it.

Kayce Hutto was born and raised in Tallahassee.  She has been at Haute Headz since her teens as an assistant to our Master stylist, but has been a stylist now for several years.  Kayce's expertise is reflected in her incredible formal styles and blowouts. She is energetic and her work reflects it. She is an avid runner and spends her free time participating in 5 and 10k races or reading the Twilight Series.

Senior Stylist
Jessica Roque has been with the salon for almost three years, but doing hair for nearly seven. She is a trained Fusion Hair Enhancement/Extension Specialist and does excellent ethnic haircuts, all types of color, great with curly hair and any form of styling. When not hard at work, Jessica spends her free time with her son, Jaylen.

Advanced Stylist & Nail Tech
Quick with a smile, she makes everyone feel at home before they even sit down. Brenda Edmunds has a passion for edgier styles, short razor bobs and piecey textured shags. With over 19 years in the business, she graduated from Queen City Beauty College in Clarksville Tn. and has been with Haute Headz since 2004.

Advanced Stylist/Make-Up Artist
Brynn Monesterio attended North Florida School of Cosmetology and has been with Haute Headz since 2003.  She gives a solid performance through and through, a definite favorite among clients. Brynn was also chosen to attend the elite Bumble and Bumble cutting school in New York and certified in the Liscio Japanese Straightening System. Her attention to detail with all services, including makeup, shows her excellence all around.

Advanced Styist
Ginger Dykes has been with Haute Headz for over five years.  She is a Senior stylist with a Masters experience.  Ginger is consistency across the board and loves the diversity of all the different processes. Whether its color, cut, chemical or all of the above, you will leave looking and feeling more confident than ever!

Advanced Stylist
A certified Bumble and Bumble Educator, Heather Standridge is just one step away from becoming a Master Stylist. Her work is extraordinary. Her cuts clean and precise, brilliant with all colors and her styling is first class.  She is certified in the Liscio Japenese Straightening System. Heather spends her free time enjoying all things fitness.

Master Stylist
Throughout her years of extensive training under some of the top people in the industry, Adella Maxwell is an outstanding colorist whose creativity shines through in her drop dead colors as well as her poetic updo's. She spends her free time with her horses and other animals.

Master Stylist
Somkit Thompson relocated to Haute Headz from the famed Adam Broderick Salon (an Intercoiffure salon) in Ridgefield, Ct. He has a client following unparalleled in these parts. He likes the process of “following his vision from cut, to color, to style, and seeing the end result.” He is certified in Liscio Straightening System.

Master Stylist
Tish Fletcher is a Senior member of the salon with 18 years to prove it!!! She started with Nikki and Monique when their business launched near the Florida State campus in 1990. Tish is a precision stylist, well-rounded, excellent colorist, while liking avant-garde cuts, too. When Tish is not at the salon, she is relaxing and spending time with her adorable son, Camden.

Master Stylist
William Jones attended Wilford Academy and Toni and Guy in London, England.  He relocated from the well-known Adam Broderick Salon in Ridgefield, Ct.. William does simply sublime cuts, color and superb styling. He has absolutely unparalleled product knowledge and is certified in the Liscio Japanese Straightening System.

Nail Tech
Elena Andrews has been at Haute Headz in its Midtown location since opening in 1999, but doing nails for over eighteen years.  She knows the nail industry like nobody's business. She's full-spirited, easy to laugh and quick with a smile. Elena stays in the business because of her clients, stays at Haute Headz because of the staff.

Front Desk Manager and Marketing/Event Coordinator
Brittany Clark graduated from the University Of Central Florida in the Spring of 2007. Brittany moved back to her hometown of Tallahassee in 2008 and now handles all of the public relations and marketing of Haute Headz as well as managing the Front Desk team. When she is not hard at work she loves spending time with her boyfriend and their two dogs, working out and sunbathing!
